Another Sneak Peek

I just can't seem to stay out of my studio these days.  My new Stampin' Up! products keep calling my name, plus I am beginning to stress over the number of swaps I need to make for the upcoming Stampin' Up! convention in Salt Lake City.

This card uses another new stamp set, Friends Never Fade.  I ordinarily wouldn't use deep red and yellow together, but I pulled out my trusty new Color Coach, and found I could put together an unlikely color combination that I really liked.  And I used my Glossy White cardstock, something I haven't used in ages.

Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, & Glossy White

Ink: Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler

Accessories: Early Espresso 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, 1 3/4" Scallop Circle punch, Scallop Trim Border punch, 1 3/4" Circle punch, Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Big Shot

Now I'm off to make another card.  Maybe this next one I'll design for one of my convention Swaps!

"Studio Sketches"

I decided to try another of my new stamp sets from the 2010/2011 Idea Book and Catalog, Studio Sketches.  This stamp set contains images that remind me of a still life painting.  In addition to the new stamp set, I had fun playing with some of the new colors and a new embossing folder.

Accessories: Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Corner Rounder, 1/4" hole punch, Color Spritzer Tool

I had so much fun combining "old" and "new" Stampin' Up! products to create this card.  I'd love to hear your comments.
